Freckles - are so cute!

AddThis Social Bookmark Button

If you are the lucky owner of these cute friends then I do suggest you love them. Clearly, they’re gorgeous.

This means going easy when it comes to foundation. Freckles, you see, are attention seekers; who just love to glow though, which is where they should be.

So, if you have freckles…
• Firstly wear sunscreen. As you are already sporting freckles, your skin is more susceptible to the sun. To prevent future damage, wear a broad spectrum SPF 30+ every single day – yes, even in winter.
• Try a tinted moisturiser like our Sheer Radiance Tinted Moisturiser. These will even out your skin tone, but still allow your freckles to glow through.
• Need to conceal a few spots? A little of our mineral concealer will do the trick.
• Another little trick is to use an highlighter.  Pure Anada Stardust eye shadow is perfect for this.  Apply the powder to the top of your cheek and brow bone; to give you skin that extra glow.
• Lastly use touch of blush in a soft shade; this finishes off your skin giving you a natural flush without covering up any of your freckles.

I was luckily enough to be filmed using Pure Anada at Lyndsay Charles wedding yesterday.  They featured her as she was married on the same day as Kate and Wills!  If you don't want to watch the whole programme it's approx 17 minutes in and you can see how lovely minerals make brides!

Makeup used in Lyndsay's bridal look was Cafe Latte, Cedar Rose and Black Tie on her eyes.  Soft Wheat foundation, Berry blusher and Sheer Opal lip gloss.

How to create Kate's Look

Didn't Kate look beautiful!

Kate kept her makeup wonderfully natural for her wedding day look. You could easily re-create this look by following these steps:

1. Create the perfect base with mineral foundation, add a little sunflower concealer under your eyes to hide any shadows.

2. Sweep Close to Cocoa eyeshadow over your whole eyelid and blend at the crease. Then using a black or dark brown liner, line the top and bottom lashes and add a good couple of coats of waterproof mascara.

3. Our Petal blusher is just right for the rosy glow.

4. Finish with an Icy Pink gloss or stick.

You're now ready to marry your Prince!
